Position: Senior Red Hat Ansible Automation Consultant

Role Summary
The Senior Red Hat Ansible Automation Consultant will deliver enterprise-grade automation solutions using Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) in an offshore delivery model. The role focuses on AAP deployment, integration, workflow development, and automation adoption, working remotely with customer and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) (VM-based or OpenShift-based)
- Validate infrastructure, OS, and network prerequisites remotely
- Design, develop, and optimize Ansible playbooks, roles, and workflows
- Integrate AAP with Git, LDAP/AD, ITSM tools, monitoring systems, and cloud platforms
- Configure RBAC, credentials, inventories, job templates, and workflows
- Troubleshoot automation failures and performance issues
- Support testing, validation, and customer acceptance remotely
- Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and handover materials
- Participate in remote workshops and knowledge transfer sessions
- Provide regular technical updates to project and customer stakeholders
Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 6–8+ years in infrastructure / DevOps / automation roles
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Ansible Automation Platform
- Strong Ansible playbook and role development experience
- Experience integrating automation with enterprise systems
- Solid Linux (RHEL) administration skills
- Proven experience delivering projects in a remote / offshore model
Certifications
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE – Ansible Focused)
- Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
- ITIL 4 Foundation (nice to have)
